Well, what can i say, probably one of my favourite movies of all time. its got everything, action, paint-gore, comedy, one-liners that would shut-up even the most smart-assed of 13 year-old boys and a hero with the manliest chin EVER.
okay, onto the serious stuff.
though it is the third movie in a trilogy (the Evil Dead trilogy), it is by far the best. in this case, the sequels jsut get better and better. dont worry if you havent seen the other two because this one recaps them both...... in 2 minutes!!!(which is all it takes)
Story goes that Ash Williams (Bruce Campbell) has accidently been sent back in time to merry old medievil england from the 20th century. with a chainsaw for a hand and a sawn-off shotgun, he has to fight his way to survive form the "medievil screws" and eventually save them all from the undead forces created by the necronomicon (an evil book of the dead).
this movie originated some of the best movies quotes known to mankind (anyone who has played Duke Nukem 3D will recognise some of these). some of them (but not the best) are:
"Come get some"
"This is my BOOMSTICK"
"Groovy" (also from Evil Dead 2)
"You aint got jack-shit....... and jack just left town"
